This haor is located at a distance of 65 km from Moulvibazar Sadar and to get here you can first reach Moulvibazar district, then by bus from Moulvibazar.

By bus or train to Moulvibazar or Srimangal station, then from there to Kamalganj. Rent a vehicle from Kamalganj or Srimangal town and reach Kalabanpara for Champara tea garden by 6:30 am or 7:30 am. It takes about 5 hours to get from Kalabanpara to Hamham Falls. There are CNG and jeeps to reach Lauyachhara from Srimangal. There are also local buses from the local Bhanugachha bus stand to Lauyachhara. You can reach Kalabanpara after walking for an hour along a winding mountain path and a bridge made of wooden planks near the village of Lauyachhara forest. It is also 24 km away from Kamalganj municipality junction to Kalaban. Of these 24 kilometers, 14 kilometers are paved roads up to Kurma and the rest of the roads are unpaved.
